A teacher at heart, I love books. I especially love children's literature. I find that, in the back of my mind, I am always thinking about how I might use a story in a classroom. Even though I am not currently teaching, I see opportunities to teach all around me. And though I could probably read ONLY children's books for the rest of my life, I occasionally mix it up with something else. However, with a new babe at home, my free time seems to have been shortened and chopped up into short snippets, alternating between cleaning, cooking, bathing, or an occasional nap. However, I am trying to make more time for reading. My Goodreads list is growing way faster than I can shorten it so I have some serious work to do. Here are some recent ones I have read and some of my ideas on how to use them to teach.
